AORN Chapter 1023 August Meeting

The backpack and school supply for Grandma's Place has now been converted to a general donation drive for Grandma's Place. Meet at Duffy's at 6:30 for a self-pay dinner to collect items for the kid's shelter.

Bethesda West has set up boxes for collection items, this may be something that your facility would consider too.

Grandma's Place's mission is "To provide shelter and loving care to children who have suffered abuse or neglect and have been removed from their homes; and to provide supports to parents/caregivers of children with special needs to maximize each child’s safety and success."

We are in great need of:

• PAPER CUPS – SMALL AND REGULAR SIZE
• PAPER PLATES – REGULAR SIZE
• PAPER BOWLS
• Cases of bottled water

 OTHER THINGS WE NEED:

• Dry Milk
• Paper towels
• Ice Pops
• Apple or Cranberry Juice – large bottles
  
• Juice Boxes
• Ice Tea, Lemonade or Gatorade mix/powder
• Individual snack packages – chips, cheese puffs, etc.
• Liquid Bleach and Laundry Detergent – liquid or powder
• Rice Crispy Treats
